Grand Massif ski area  [ 700m - 2500m | 2,296ft - 8,202ft ] 

Nestling in the Haute-Savoie region and facing Mont Blanc, the mountains await you. Step into your skis and set off to discover one of France’s largest interconnected ski areas, comprising the resorts of Flaine, Samoens, Les Carroz, Morillon and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval.

With its 139 ski runs and 62 ski lifts, the Grand Massif ski area boasts a huge range of ski runs, for beginners and experts alike.

Exceptional snow conditions

Flaine’s natural snow cover allows for a long winter season, ensuring top quality snowsports throughout. It is one of the best snow conditions in the Northern Alps and in France. 

More than 100 snowcannons provide additional snow cover where needed on the ski area, ensuring maximal  "skiability" throughout the season.

From the top of the Grandes Platières cable car at an altitude of 2,500 metres, feel on the top of the world as you enjoy 360° panoramic views over the Mont-Blanc, Aravis, Belledonne and Jura mountains ranges. The most beautiful views of the Mont-Blanc mountain range are yours for the taking in Flaine!

Access for skiers and pedestrians via the Grandes Platières cable car (12 min) | Pedestrians: €21.40 single rate, free for children under 8, as well as for those aged 75 and over.
