With 5 resorts each boasting complementary qualities, 139 groomed slopes and 62 ski lifts to guarantee hassle-free connections between resorts, the Grand Massif boasts real assets that ensure there’s something everyone will love. The ski area is possible to explore as a family, taking only blue runs! In Flaine, whilst the upper section of the ski area tends to be beautifully clear of crowds, offering breathtaking panoramic views, the lower section offers pretty ski runs. Fans of impressive vertical drops will love the variety of wide, playful runs renowned for always being very well groomed.

News : Skiers under 8 years of age (2015 & +) can ski for free (with proof of age).

Prices do not include skicard (+2€ per pass) compulsory for all ski passes. This card is rechargeable and non refundable.

People aged 75 and over ski for free only on presentation of proof of age throughout the ski area.

For people with motor disabilities, 50% discount on the price of your package, on presentation of a disability card of more than 80%. More information.

Beginner

In Flaine, the beginner ski lift pass works on a point card system.

The point card is valid throughout the winter on the lifts specified.

  • A few tips to get the most out of the Flaine beginner zones :
  •  Start off learning to ski on the Pré or Bissac pistes,
  • Move on to the Mélèze green slope accessed via the Ballacha lift,
  • Improve your technique by taking the Gerats chairlift to get to the Balaken fun zone on the Opale green slope and ski on your first blue slope,
  • You can take chairlifts or even the Grandes Platières cable car to admire the view of Mont Blanc.

To skiing more, you can opt for the Flaine lift pass or Grand Massif lift pass.

From the top of the Grandes Platières cable car at an altitude of 2,500 metres (8 202 ft), feel on the top of the world as you enjoy 360° panoramic views over the Mont-Blanc, Aravis, Belledonne and Jura mountains ranges. The most beautiful views of the Mont-Blanc mountain range are yours for the taking in Flaine !
