We collect and save all of the data that you provide us with via our website, email, social networks, telephone or in person at the Tourist Office.

Compulsory information fields for our products and services are always clearly identified. If you do not send us the compulsory information, we will not be able to deal with your request. You may choose not to provide us with non-compulsory information. We use the data that you provide us with to respond to your requests and personalise our communications.

• Data relating to communications

In our quest to continually improve our Newsletters and various communications, we may sometimes collect data such as the receipt of an email, the date and time it was opened and a click in an email, for example.

If you do not wish to receive Newsletters from us, you can unsubscribe via the unsubscribe link in the Newsletter or just by sending a request to the Tourist Office.

• Data collected automatically on the Internet, which is collected automatically by our IT systems when you browse our site. This is mostly technical data.

Flaine Tourist Office collects and processes your personal data in order to:

• Give you access to services offered by the Tourist Office
• Give you the latest news about the resort

Data processing varies according to your specific interaction with the Tourist Office (Newsletter subscriptions, holiday enquiries, requests for information/complaint)

The Flaine Tourist Office uses the information collected about you in different ways depending on how you use our services:

• User management

Data processing is carried out when you visit our website, make a holiday enquiry or sign up for our Newsletter.

• Customer services

Data processing is carried out when you send a request or complaint to the Tourist Office.

Personal data storage periods depend on the intended use: data storage periods depend on the purpose for which we collect it.

• We only store your personal data for the period strictly necessary for the purposes stated previously or to comply with our statutory obligations.
• If you have requested to receive our Newsletters, your data is kept for three years: you may unsubscribe at any time via the link in the Newsletter, by sending us a direct email request to welcome@flaine.com or by writing to us at Office de tourisme de Flaine - Flaine Forum - 74300 FLAINE

In order to provide certain services, we may share your data with third party service providers, particularly:

• Holiday enquiries
• Pocket Wi-Fi rental
• Complaints to third parties

You may check, add to and update the information that you have provided us with. You may unsubscribe from our Newsletters at any time by clicking on the link in the Newsletter or asking us directly. 

• Data portability

Users may request data portability at any time for the purposes of recovering the personal data that the Tourist Office has collected about them via a personal archive made available to them. 

• Deletion and the right to be forgotten

You may send a direct request to us to for the right to be forgotten: your data will be lost but you can set up a new account at any time. 

• Complaints

If you have any questions about personal data or if you have not received a response to a request to exercise your rights within 20 days of your request, you may contact the Data Protection Officer at the Tourist Office at welcome@flaine.com, stating the nature of the rights that you have requested to exercise. You may also make a complaint to the CNIL via https://cnil.fr/
