On the edge of the Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval and Passy nature reserves, Flaine hides a treasure trove of flora and fauna: ibex, marmots, jackdaws, bluebells, wild rhododendrons, génépi... Explore 150 kilometres of signposted paths starting from the resort, the top of the Grandes Platières cable car, or Lake Vernant. From 4th July to 28th August, 2020, from 9.00am to 5.00pm (opening 7/7). In the event of bad weather, the cable car will be closed for the day.

Top tip:: At this altitude, it’s wise to bring a warm jacket with you. Make sure your wear walking boots or shoes to avoid any falls or accidents.
