How to get to Flaine... couldn’t be easier!
By car, train or plane, on the track and direction Haute-Savoie: the resort of Flaine is waiting for you!
Its close proximity to Geneva airport, Cluses and Geneva’s TGV train stations and the A40 motorway make it an easily accessible mountain destination, for winter holidays and summer as well.
Located between altitudes of 1,600 metres (5 249 ft) and 2,500 metres (8 202 ft), Flaine is the highest resort in the Grand Massif ski area. It is bordered by the Portes du Soleil ski area to the North, les Aravis ski area to the West and le Pays du Mont-Blanc to the South. Find all the practical information and routes for your trip!

By road
Follow the A40 motorway towards Geneva/Chamonix, and come off at exit n° 19: Cluses Centre.
Flaine is signposted from here: turn right onto the N205 (towards Sallanches) for 2 km, then take the first on your left at the roundabout (D106 towards Flaine/Les Carroz).
When you get to this point, you’re only 30-40 minutes from Flaine.

By air
The resort is easily accessible from all over France and Europe from Geneva airport (70 km).
Coming to Flaine :
- Individual transfer: taxi and individual and group transport*
- Collective transfer (train + bus):
- Take a train to Geneva Cornavin train station (information and hours).
- Take a Léman Express train to reach Cluses station (information, hours and booking).*
- Take an Altibus bus between Cluses "gare routière" and Flaine (booking).*

By train
The nearest TGV high speed train stations to Flaine are Cluses (30 km) and Geneva (70 km).
You can then take the bonds by bus from Cluses, taxis and transport of people from all stations.
