Flaine, a pedestrian resort in Haute-Savoie

The principle is simple: you park your car outside the resort and enjoy the attractions of Flaine on foot!

Where can I park my car in Flaine?

When you arrive in Flaine, you can unload your luggage at the foot of your accommodation (1h30 free of charge: Flaine Forum, Forêt & Front de Neige), and then park in our car parks outside the resort.

Flaine has :

• Three paying car parks (10€/24h): P1 (Flaine Front de Neige), P2 (Flaine Forum), P3 (Flaine Forêt). Map of the resort.
• A free car park: PCol (Col de Pierre Carrée, accessible by free shuttle bus). Where is the parking lot?

Then, you don't need to take your car anymore thanks to the free shuttles that run every day between Flaine Forêt, the Hameau and the Col de Pierre Carrée.

Can I come to Flaine without a car?

Getting to Flaine from Geneva airport: 

The ski resort is easily accessible from all over France and Europe to Geneva airport (70 km).

• Individual transfer: taxi and individual and group transport*

• Collective transfer:

Train + bus

• • Take a train to Geneva Cornavin train station (information and schedules).
  • Take a Léman Express train to reach Cluses station (schedules and booking).*
  • Take an Altibus bus between Cluses "gare routière" and Flaine (booking).*

Bus

• • Take an Eurobus from the airport, the bus will then drop you off at Flaine Forum (schedules et reservation).*
  • To get to your accommodation, you can take the resort's free shuttle bus.

Getting to Flaine from Cluses station: 

The nearest TGV stations to Flaine are Cluses (30 km) and Geneva (70 km).

You can then use the bus connections from Cluses, taxis and passenger transport from all stations.

  • Take an Altibus bus between Cluses "gare routière" and Flaine (booking).*

Can I get around Flaine without a car?

The advantage of Flaine is that once you arrive, you can let your car rest for the week!

The floors of Flaine that can be reached by foot (map of the resort) : 

• From Flaine Front Neige to Flaine Forum.
• Then, from Flaine Forum to Flaine Forêt (+ 2 lifts 24h/24 7d7).
• And finally, Flaine Forêt to Flaine Les Gérats.

The floors of Flaine that can be reached by free shuttle bus:

• From Flaine Forêt to Flaine Les Gérats.
• Then, Flaine les Gérats to Flaine le Hameau.
• To finish with Flaine le Hameau to the Nordic area at the Col de Pierre Carrée.

And vice-versa!
