Your week under the sign of the stars!
Passionate about everything that happens in the sky, this week is tailor-made for you! You will become knowledgeable on the subject thanks to the observation sessions of sky, sun, stars and moon. You can get away from it all during the planetarium sessions.
Between scientific workshops, astro conference, planetariums, exhibitions, day and night sky observations, astro quiz, cosmic box, etc. This week is made for you!
Sunday 30th July
6.00pm - Welcome drink | Kiosque, Flaine Forum
Presentation of the resort's activities and service providers. Soft drinks provided by our partner, the SHERPA supermarket.

Monday 31th July
10 am - Sun observation | Kiosque, Flaine Forum
Come and observe the sun's surface, its spots and eruptions, using special instruments.

3 pm & 4 pm - Planetarium sessions | Auditorium
Two planetarium sessions devoted to the world of the stars.

Observation of the starry sky and full moon rising behind the mountains. A simple but magnificent spectacle.

Tuesday 1st August
10 am - Workshop on the secrets of the moon | Kiosque, Flaine Forum
In the form of small workshops and role-playing games, the public will discover all the mysteries of the Moon.

In the form of small workshops, let's discover together the Solar System, the planets and their characteristics, the distances between them, their movements and their observation in the sky.

3 pm - Powder rocket workshop + launch | Kiosque, Flaine Forum
Build your own powder rocket and take part in its launch (15 teams of 3/4 people for 15 rockets).

From 10.30am - "Montagne Propre" operation | Meeting point at the Grandes Platières cable car.
Clean-up of the mountain.
BBQ for participants and refreshments in aid of the charity "Le soir au pumptrack".
Workshops can only be booked online
All activities of the Tourist Office are free with your Flaine Summer Pass.
