See a different side to hiking!
To discover the wildlife in our mountains in summer, Flaine’s ski area has introduced a wildlife observation service at the top of Les Grandes Platières.
A coordinator will explain animal adaptation strategies and how our behaviour can help to protect them.
Free of charge, with a sightseeing telescope!
Meet every day at the arrival of the Grandes Platières cable car, but also on the geological path during the opening hours of the DMC (9 a.m. - 5 p.m., short absence at noon).
Also discover the "Altitude Species and Climate Change" workshops, a moment of observation and discussion at the top of the Grandes Platières cable car (carried out by the Sixt Fer-à-Cheval/Passy Nature Reserve).
From July 10th to August 31st, 2023, every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Free entertainment (excluding cable car cost), without registration.
