A high quality music academy.

"Music in Flaine" was born from the will of teachers and personalities attached to the "Bain de Musique" and who wanted to set up a high quality musical academy focused on chamber music.

It welcomes eighty trainees (mostly young adults), including formed chamber music groups.

The teaching will be provided by Luc-Marie AGUERA, Noémie BIALOBRODA, Andrej BIELOW, Peter BRUNS, Thomas HOPPE, Yovan MARKOVITCH, Christophe POIGET, Pauline SACHSE. The teachers and some students will give 8 concerts in the auditorium.

Since winter 2011, Musique à Flaine has been organizing a winter musical week with the Flaine Tourist Office.

This academy is chaired by Catherine Delepelaire who succeeds Henriette de Vitry. It is supported by the Search, Scaler, Clarence Westbury, Culture and Music Foundations (under the aegis of the Fondation de France), by the Association Echanges et Bibliothèques, as well as by the Flaine Tourist Office, the Syndicat Intercommunal de Flaine and the Center d'Art de Flaine.
